Kitchen Repairs!

Demo Day!
I peeled wall paper for hours, and then we had to repair the walls completely. Who know we were so handy!

Rob has done a lot of plumbing stuff... I'm sure he's glad that part is over. :-)

Now for the new:

This is our work in progress. There are still two cabinets that need installed above and beside the stove. This has been a major learning process for us.
This kitchen was a waste of space. We moved the fridge, beside the sink, and now we have a lot more counter top space (it's butcher block)
Here is another shot.

New and Improved!

Here is the view of our house from the street. If you look at past posts, it looks much different.Last weekend, Rob cut back the giant blue spruce up to the top of our porch... it makes a big difference. We like it that you can actually see our porch now!

The rhododendrens have been cut down!

We think they look pretty cool... they used to be HUGE! We thought we would Bonzai them!

House Project #2

Rob and I worked in the front of the house too! We pulled out the existing ferns, and landscaped again! We think this makes our house look new and improved! We're excited to see then next year, when they are a little bigger.

House Project #1

Here is the finished look of our backyard as of September, 2008. Rob put up all new screen, and I stained A LOT! We are pretty happy with the outcome! This was a two day project!

The virtual tour of our downstairs

Here are some pictures of our home: the entry way, our living room, our dining room, and our narrow galley kitchen . It's not a huge house, but we love it's character, and the neighborhood in which we live is amazing.

Anthony visits the Burgh!

Since Rob and Anthony are such big 'Cuse fans.. we went to WVU for a basketball match up. Sadly for them, WVU won.. Go Mounties!

We also took a hike in Frick Park. This park very large a within city limits. We only live five blocks from it. Very nice.
