Triple B Farms to get pumpkins!

We went to the Pumpkin Farm, and had a really nice time. This was Teddy's first time visiting a farm... I would have had lots more pics to choose from, but of course, my camera ran out of power. Below are the pics of Teddy experiencing the insides of the pumpkin when we got home! He was obsessed with taking on and off the lid. Simple pleasures.

Teddy was getting his 1 year old molars about this time.. it was a never ending faucet of slobber, as you can see above!

Splish Splash!

Summer is here and vacation time is in full swing! Teddy's 1st visit to Nana and Papa's lake house in South Carolina... it's beautiful! Teddy wakes up, eats breakfast, plays, takes a nap, goes to the lake and swims, eats lunch, takes a nap, plays some more, eats dinner, takes a bath, and goes to bed. Sounds rough, right??

Teddy loves the water!

Beautiful Sunny Weather in Pittsburgh!

The weather today was absolutely beautiful, so we spent some time in the backyard. Teddy loves to feel the grass between his fingers, and is always trying to pick up rocks, leaves or whatever he can grab.. he's such a curious little bugger!

Walking around...

I know what you're thinking.. Teddy is walking already? Well the answer to that is not really..but he loves to try! My parents purchased him this walker so he can at least feel like n independent little buddy. He's doing pretty well.

San Francisco!

San Fran is a great city! We were so lucky, because Teddy was a great traveler! Here are a few pics with Rob and I- You will see that Teddy has his own seat- the flight attendant was very nice and she asked around so that we could have an entire row for our family- Teddy had his own tray to put his trucks on.
When you're in a hotel room with only the toys you brought, you get creative. Teddy was obsessed with riding around in the suitcase.. so we did that a lot before bed time to burn off some energy after dinner. There is also a pic of the red wood forest we visited. The trees are so huge that Teddy and I could fit into one.
The hills of SF are sometimes pretty steep. After walking up a hill that literally had steps built into it, we came across this beautiful park on top of Nob Hill- Teddy was able to take his first swing ride.. as you can see- he LOVED it!

Yeah Teddy!

Zoo Day!

We went to the Pittsburgh zoo on Sunday-We purchased a pass, so we can visit the zoo all year long, in addition to visiting zoos around the country as well. Rob and I weren't sure of what Teddy would take away from the visit, but it was a beautiful and sunny day, so we couldn't pass it up. Funny thing is that when we got there, Teddy fell asleep, and slept through the first 20 minutes of the stroll... As soon as we entered the elephant house, Teddy woke up and was up for the remainder of the visit...I should also mention that he was very into people watching.. guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree... Here are pictures from the aquarium.

So, Teddy has really started to laugh out loud this past month.... he thinks I'm the funniest person on the planet.. we think his giggles are contagious.

9 months!

7 months

Teddy is turning 7 months tomorrow... can't believe I'm even saying that! Time has gone by too fast. Teddy is constantly on the move- he's trying so hard to crawl- as of right now, he's army crawling around- whatever works!

Rice Puffs

Teddy has just begun to try little finger foods, like the rice puffs that literally melt in your mouth. He seems to enjoy them, but still has a hard time feeding himself. At least he tries.. right?

WInter Wonderland

Pittsburgh was hit by a huge snow storm this past weekend. There was so much snow, that Rob, Teddy and I have had snow days the entire week... it's been nice to have so much family time, but we're all going a little stir crazy! Here are a few pictures to show really how much snow fell.

Here is a pic of the Doc- he wasn't afraid of the mound of snow in the backyard! In fact, he helped to create the path to the cars in the back.

Rob, shoveling two feet of snow!

Our street.. It's absolutely beautiful!

Strong, Big Boy

Teddy's new thing is to climb up the side of the crib to a standing position. I had left the room, and this is was what I came back to... caught trying to escape!

He loves to stand!

He's so independent!

That's right, ladies and gents... he can sit up all by himself.

Like Father, Like Son

Let's Go Orange! (but, only during basketball season- otherwise.. Let's Go Mounties!! hehe) It's ok Teddy.. I know you would be smiling wearing WVU! Sorry Daddy :-)

Christmas Shot!

Here is Teddy in front of the Christmas tree... he's getting so big! As I'm looking at this pic, all I can think of is that I can't wait until Teddy stops spitting up so much- he has so many cute outfits, but they are all ruined by ugly, but necessary bibs..Oh well- he's still a cutie-baby!

Teddy eats cereal!

Teddy turned five months old yesterday, so today we decided to feed him his first taste of cereal. We didn't really now how he would take to it, but we had no problems. He loved it! It was really funny, because he kept reaching for more.. it must have been really yummy! Take a peak!
